For the second year running, National Locums, the specialist Milton Keynes-based recruitment agency supplying locum doctors to NHS and independent hospitals throughout the UK, has been awarded coveted Platinum status following an official audit.

The audit, carried out on behalf of the NHS, showed that National Locums achieved a score of 99.45% on a series of compliance standards, including checking whether locum doctors were fully qualified; had undertaken mandatory annual training; were cleared under official security checks, including the Criminal Records Bureau; 10-year employment history; hospital and employer references; and annual NHS approvals.

The official auditors awarded National Locums Platinum status – the top ranking – for the second year running.
