National Locums has moved to larger offices in Milton Keynes following an exceptional period of new business wins and staff growth.
The company has moved into 5,000 sq ft of offices at the prestigious Manor Court Farm business centre at Old Wolverton, Milton Keynes.
Staffing at National Locums has grown from just four, when the company was founded five years ago by the Cook family – David, Glenn and Jenny Cook – to 26 today.
The fast-growing company made more than 1,100 placements of doctors into hospitals in the past 12 months, and has almost trebled turnover in the past three years.
The company has won a series of new contracts in the past year, including Tier 1 ‘preferred supplier’ status to NHS Trusts, and also gained a coveted ‘Platinum’ rating for the second year running, following an official audit covering checks on locum doctors’ compliance standards, qualifications, training, employment history and annual NHS approvals.
Says National Locums managing director David Cook: The key reasons for our progress and our need to move to bigger offices is that our business has grown though focus on client and candidate satisfaction and an ethical approach to everything we do.
