What is Oxford Children’s Hospital Charity?

Every year thousands of children, from newborns to teenagers, are treated by the Oxford Children’s Hospital and across the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust.

For each child it is incredibly important that their hospital is a warm and welcoming place that truly understands their needs, and those of their families.

No family knows when it may need the skills and care of the hospital, and when your child is ill it can be a very frightening time. The Fund for Children makes a child’s time in hospital that little bit easier.

With your support, they create a warm, child-friendly environment, with lots of things to do.

They make sure parents can comfort their child at night by providing beds right next to their child.

They purchase the very latest medical equipment and fund ground-breaking medical research into children’s illnesses – going far beyond what the NHS alone can provide.
