About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Consultant in General Medicine to join our healthcare team in Scotland. This is a fixed-term contract position starting on 30th June 2024 and ending on 30th September 2024. The role involves working regular Monday to Friday hours from 09:00 to 17:00. Oncall duties will be discussed at the point of booking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert medical care and management to patients in the field of General Medicine.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatments.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated patient care.
• Attend and contribute to ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and team meetings.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Support and mentor junior medical staff as needed.
• Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Medical degree and full GMC registration (or equivalent).
• Specialist training and experience in General Medicine.
• Proven clinical skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
