Virtual Wards, Elderly Medicine, ST3 / Registrar / SPR, Long Term Role Available

Care of Elderly Registrar/ST3/SPR needed for remote service.

• This is a new role for virtual wards.  Someone with good General Medicine or Older people experience will be ideal.
• The pathways we are staring with are Frailty, respiratory illness a heart failure.
• The Doctor will chair daily MDT’s with the monitoring team, will undertake virtual consultations, and may on occasion need to undertake a F2F assessment in the patients usual place of residence.
• The will link to a consultant for specialist advice where necessary.
• They will have access to the remote monitoring System.
