So what does a recruiter do?
National Locums is one of the country’s leading suppliers of locum doctors to NHS and independent hospitals.
Often, hospitals don’t have the time and resources to undertake their own recruitment. So they come to us, and we match our database of doctors to their requirements, and provide them with fully qualified temporary doctors to support their full-time medical staff.
Our team includes resourcers, who find new doctors to add to our database; consultants who manage relationships with the hospitals and match locums to vacancies; and specialists, including compliance officers ensuring that our doctors meet General Medical Council and NHS standards.
What qualifications do I need?
Energy and commitment, above all. While a degree may lead to swifter promotion within the organisation, some of our high flyers joined straight from school.
What can I earn?
