National Locums, a leading medical recruitment agency, is proud to support MK Food Banks in their Guinness World Record attempt for the longest line of food cans around Campbell Park. The event, which took place on October 15, 2023, was a huge success, with over 100,000 food cans being collected. The food will be used to keep the food bank going throughout winter when donations typically decrease.

National Locums provided over 450 cans to support the event, as well as volunteers to help set up and break down the line of food cans.
“We are delighted to have supported MK Food Banks in their Guinness World Record attempt,” said National Locums. “The food bank does vital work in our local community, and we are committed to helping them support those in need. We will continue our donations throughout the winter months to keep up our support!”

MK Food Bank is a charity that supports more than 5,000 families per year by providing short-term crisis food support. The food bank relies on donations from the public, and the Guinness World Record attempt was a way to raise awareness of the food bank and its work.

The Guinness World Record attempt also highlighted the issue of food poverty in Milton Keynes. According to MK Food Banks, over 10,000 people in Milton Keynes rely on food banks for help.
