The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Consultant in ENT to join the team at Altnagelvin Area Hospital. This is a full-time position offering a varied and rewarding workload within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level ENT care across elective and emergency services

• Participate in outpatient clinics, theatre lists, and ward rounds

• Contribute to the on-call rota (details available on request)

• Supervise junior medical staff and support service development

• Maintain high standards of patient safety and clinical governance

Essential Requirements

• Full GMC registration with licence to practise

• Entry on the GMC Specialist Register for ENT (or within 6 months)

• Previous NHS consultant or senior locum experience preferred

• Strong clinical, communication, and leadership skills
