The Role

As a Locum Consultant Psychiatrist, you will provide expert clinical leadership, assessment, diagnosis and treatment for patients across inpatient and community settings. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, supporting high-quality patient care, risk management and service development.

You will undertake Consultant-level responsibilities, including clinical decision-making, Mental Health Act assessments, leadership within multidisciplinary teams and supporting the delivery of safe, effective psychiatric services.

Requirements

• GMC registration with a licence to practise
• CCT or equivalent specialist registration in Psychiatry
• Section 12 Approval (Essential)
• Approved Clinician (AC) status (Essential)
• Previous NHS and/or private psychiatry experience
• Strong clinical leadership and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary working abilities
• Right to work in the UK
