The Role

As a Locum Specialty Doctor, you will provide high-quality psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment for patients across inpatient and community settings. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll contribute to care planning, risk assessment and Mental Health Act responsibilities, supporting safe and effective patient care.

Section 12 Approval is essential, and opportunities are available in services requiring Mental Health Act assessments, on-call cover and specialist psychiatric expertise.

Requirements

• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
• Section 12 Approval (Essential)
• Previous NHS and/or private psychiatry experience
• Excellent clinical assessment and risk management skills
• Strong communication and multidisciplinary working abilities
• Right to work in the UK
