We are currently seeking an experienced Specialty Registrar (SpR) in Psychiatry to join a service in East Scotland on a locum basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Psychiatry SpR looking for a flexible locum position within an established clinical team.
- Provide high-quality psychiatric assessment and clinical care.
- Manage a varied caseload of patients within the service.
- Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to clinical reviews, care planning and risk assessments.
- Participate in relevant clinical meetings and handovers.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Support junior medical staff and contribute to the overall running of the service where appropriate.
Requirements
- GMC registration with a licence to practise.
- Previous experience working at SpR level in Psychiatry.
- Relevant UK Psychiatry experience.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Section 22 approval desirable
- Right to work in the UK.
