We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatry Specialty Doctor to join our private practice team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality psychiatric care to adults, working closely with our multidisciplinary team of psychologists, therapists, and allied health professionals. This is an exciting opportunity to practice autonomously within a supportive environment while contributing to the growth and reputation of a reputable private clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, including pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions.
- Manage complex mental health cases and provide ongoing monitoring and follow-up.
- Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, GPs, and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated care.
- Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in line with regulatory and legal requirements.
- Participate in professional development activities and clinical governance initiatives.
- Support patient education and promote mental health awareness.
Qualifications and Experience
- Fully qualified and registered with the GMC
- Section 12 would be desirable
- Fellowship or specialty recognition in Psychiatry would be desirable
- Proven experience in clinical psychiatry, ideally including private practice exposure.
- Strong knowledge of current psychiatric treatments, therapies, and guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
