This is an ongoing locum role, available until a substantive appointment is made.
We are seeking a motivated and skilled MSK Outpatient Physiotherapist to join our dynamic secondary care team in London. This role offers the chance to work with a varied patient caseload, providing high-quality care in an outpatient setting.
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical experience in managing musculoskeletal conditions, including referrals from orthopaedic and rheumatology specialists.
As a Band 6 Physiotherapist, you will:
- Conduct detailed one-to-one assessments and treat patients with a range of conditions, from chronic musculoskeletal disorders to acute trauma.
- Lead rehabilitation and exercise classes, applying evidence-based rehab principles in both individual and group settings.
- Work closely with orthopaedic and rheumatology consultants to deliver integrated, patient-centred care.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Previous NHS experience in an MSK setting.
- Experience managing orthopaedic and rheumatology patients.
- In-depth knowledge of musculoskeletal conditions and treatments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and manage patients independently.
- Confidence in leading rehab classes and group exercises.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
