📅 Contract: 12-week placement (With a potential to extend)
🕒 Hours: Full Time | 08:00 – 16:00 or 09:00 – 17:00
🚨 Requirement: Must have current prison clearance

National Locums is currently recruiting for a Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join the team on an initial 3-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver mental health care across primary and secondary services within the prison setting.

• Manage a caseload including assessments, care planning, and interventions.

• Conduct risk assessments and coordinate care under the Care Programme Approach.

• Provide culturally sensitive nursing care to prisoners.

• Ensure safe administration and management of medications.

Requirements:

• Registered Mental Health Nurse (Band 6)

• Previous experience in a prison setting with valid clearance

• Strong assessment and communication skills
