Job Title: Breast Imaging Consultant
Location: Sussex, United Kingdom
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 3–4 Months (with possible extension)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:30
Employment Type: Locum / Contract

This is a key locum position focused on the suspected cancer diagnostic pathway, specifically delivering breast triple assessment clinics.

Key Requirements:

• GMC registration with a specialist interest in breast imaging

• Proven experience conducting triple assessment clinics

• Available to start ASAP and commit to a 3–4 month contract

• Strong background in breast ultrasound, mammography, and image-guided procedures

• Full-time availability: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:30

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide specialist diagnostic input as part of triple assessment clinics

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess and diagnose suspected breast cancer

• Perform and report breast imaging, including:

  • Mammography

  • Breast ultrasound

  • Image-guided biopsies and aspirations

• Participate in MDT discussions and contribute to patient management plans
