We are actively recruiting for a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) for one of the Middle East’s most prestigious Private Healthcare providers.

This is a key role within the organisation and part of the executive leadership team. You will be establishing and building the nursing function for a brand new Hospital. This includes structure, governance and operating models.

The Chief Nursing Officer will provide strategic, operational and clinical leadership for all nursing and patient care services across the new hospital and clinics.

In this role you will drive clinical excellence, workforce planning, quality improvement and patient experience, while fostering a culture of professionalism, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive nursing strategy aligned with organisational goals
  • Lead transformation initiatives including digital adoption and patient experience enhancement
  • Ensure compliance and international standards, Ministry of Health regulations and accreditation bodies
  • Establish governance frameworks, policies and audit systems
  • Monitor key clinical indicators such as patient safety incidents, infections rates, documentation compliance and patient outcomes
  • Oversee nursing operations across hospital and clinics
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding and retention strategies
  • Manage nursing budgets and optimise resource utilisation
  • Work closely with Physicians and leadership teams

Suitable candidates need to be working at a Chief Nursing Officer level within a UK or European Healthcare Provider. Experience of working in the private healthcare industry would be a distinct advantage but not essential. You will need to have previous experience of setting up nursing functions and hospital commissioning.
