National Locums is delighted to offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Consultant in Elderly Care to join a respected NHS trust in Northern Ireland. This position involves working 40 hours per week and offers a chance to work in a supportive, dynamic environment focused on high-quality care for the elderly.
If you’re an experienced Consultant in Elderly Care with a passion for providing comprehensive care to older patients, this role is ideal for you.
Provide expert leadership in the Elderly Care department, delivering high-quality care to older patients
Manage complex cases and provide clinical guidance to junior staff and multidisciplinary teams
40 hours per week, ensuring a balance between work commitments and time for yourself
Participate in clinical audits, research, and service improvement initiatives
Work in line with the framework rate, ensuring fair and transparent remuneration
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate doctor with:
Consultant-level experience in Elderly Care within the UK healthcare system
Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
Extensive experience managing elderly patients with complex medical conditions
Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated care
Strong leadership skills, with experience supervising and supporting junior doctors
A commitment to providing patient-centred care and continuous service improvement
Doctors will need to work in line with the framework rate for this position
