Rota: Full rota cover (including on-calls, nights, and weekends)
Pay: Competitive hourly rate (negotiable based on experience)

Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Locum Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology to join their dynamic and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and skilled consultant to contribute to a busy, high-performing department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care in both obstetrics and gynaecology

• Participate in the full rota including daytime, night shifts, and weekend on-calls

• Support junior staff and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

• Ensure the delivery of safe and effective care for patients across antenatal, labour, and gynaecological services

Requirements:

• GMC registration with a licence to practise

• CCT or equivalent in Obstetrics & Gynaecology

• Relevant NHS experience at Consultant level

• Ability to cover a full rota, including out-of-hours commitments
