Hours: Up to 40 hours per week, 09:00 – 17:00

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Haematologist to join our healthcare team on the Isle of Man. This is a fixed-term contract position starting immediately and running until 11th July 2024. The role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a beautiful location while providing essential haematology services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat a variety of haematological conditions.
• Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with blood disorders.
• Provide expert advice and support to other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records.
• Ensure compliance with the highest standards of clinical care and patient safety.

Requirements:

• Medical degree and full GMC registration.
• Inclusion on the Specialist Register in Haematology.
• Proven experience as a Consultant Haematologist.
• Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
