About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Consultant Histopathologist to join our healthcare team on the Isle of Man. This is a short-term, fixed contract from 24th June 2024 to 12th July 2024. The role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a scenic location while providing crucial histopathology services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform microscopic examinations of tissue samples to diagnose diseases.
• Interpret histological results and provide detailed diagnostic reports.
• Collaborate with medical professionals to discuss findings and contribute to patient treatment plans.
• Ensure all histopathology services meet the highest standards of accuracy and quality.
• Maintain thorough and accurate medical records.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.

Requirements:

• Medical degree and full GMC registration.
• Inclusion on the Specialist Register in Histopathology.
• Proven experience as a Consultant Histopathologist.
• Exceptional diagnostic skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
