Position: Senior House Officer (SHO) in Ear Nose & Throat (ENT)
Location: Wales, UK
Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract (with a view to extend)

Hours: 3-5 days per week, including weekends over the summer period

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Senior House Officer (SHO) in Ear Nose & Throat (ENT) to join our team in Wales. This is a fixed-term position available from 1st July 2024 to 30th September 2024, with the potential for extension. The role involves working 3-5 days per week, including weekends over the summer period. On-call responsibilities will be discussed at the point of booking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality ENT care to patients.
• Assist in outpatient clinics, inpatient care, and surgical procedures.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Collaborate with consultants, registrars, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records.
• Adhere to clinical guidelines and best practices in ENT care.

Requirements:

• Medical degree and full GMC registration.
• Previous experience in ENT is desirable but not essential.
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and education.
