About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialty Doctor in Emergency Medicine to join our team in the Sussex region for a fixed-term contract. This role covers the period from 1st July 2024 to 1st September 2024, with working hours from 05:00 to 13:00. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality emergency medical care in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
• Perform a range of emergency procedures and interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
• Adhere to clinical guidelines and standards of care to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Participate in teaching and training of junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

• Medical degree and full GMC registration.
• Experience in Emergency Medicine at the specialty doctor level.
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and education.
