About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Specialty Registrar (SpR) in Accident & Emergency to join our team in East Anglia. This is a fixed-term contract position starting on 1st July 2024 and ending on 1st August 2024. The role involves working twilight shifts from 16:00 to 00:00.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients presenting to the Accident & Emergency department.
- Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of acute medical conditions and trauma cases.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective patient care.
- Prioritize patient needs and respond to emergencies promptly.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
- Participate in clinical audits, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Mentor and support junior medical staff as required.
Requirements:
- Medical degree and full GMC registration (or equivalent).
- Strong experience and training in Emergency Medicine.
- Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent clinical and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
