Position: Specialty Registrar (SpR) in Accident & Emergency
Location: East Anglia
Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract
Hours: Twilight Shifts, 16:00 – 00:00
Start Date: 1st July 2024
End Date: 1st August 2024

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Specialty Registrar (SpR) in Accident & Emergency to join our team in East Anglia. This is a fixed-term contract position starting on 1st July 2024 and ending on 1st August 2024. The role involves working twilight shifts from 16:00 to 00:00.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients presenting to the Accident & Emergency department.
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of acute medical conditions and trauma cases.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective patient care.
  • Prioritize patient needs and respond to emergencies promptly.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
  • Participate in clinical audits, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor and support junior medical staff as required.

Requirements:

  • Medical degree and full GMC registration (or equivalent).
  • Strong experience and training in Emergency Medicine.
  • Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent clinical and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
