About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic and multidisciplinary Mental Health team. This is a full-time position offering a varied and rewarding caseload, working across a range of specialties including:

Personality Disorders (PD)

Functional Neurological Disorders (FND)

Bipolar Disorder
-
Psychosis
-
Brain Trauma
-
Learning Disabilities (LD)
You will play a vital role in supporting service users to develop independence, enhance their quality of life, and achieve meaningful recovery goals through evidence-based occupational therapy interventions.
Key Responsibilities

Assess the occupational needs of clients and develop person-centred treatment plans.

Provide individual and group interventions focusing on recovery, function, and wellbeing.

Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and support staff.

Contribute to care planning, risk assessment, and discharge planning.

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives.
About You
-
HCPC registered Occupational Therapist (essential).

Experience within a mental health setting (community or inpatient).
-
Strong communication, organisational, and clinical reasoning skills.

Compassionate, resilient, and committed to promoting recovery and independence.

Ability to manage a varied caseload and work autonomously within a supportive team.
