📅 Job Details

• Position: Senior House Officer (SHO) in Adult Psychiatry

• Location: Western Isles Hospital, Stornoway, Scotland

• Dates: From Monday, June 30, 2025, until Wednesday, August 6, 2025 initially

• Hours: 40–60 hours per week, including a mix of long and short days, plus weekends

• Accommodation: On-site accommodation available for July and August

• Pay: £TBC per hour

✅ Essential Criteria

• Experience: Minimum of 6 months NHS experience in Psychiatry

• Qualifications:

  • Medical degree

  • Full GMC registration

  • Clear DBS and application for PVG

• Skills:

  • Experience in assessing and treating adult patients in community psychiatric settings

  • Knowledge and experience working in UK hospital systems

  • Minimum of 6 months Psychiatry experience with supporting references from last 1-2 years
