RESPONSIBILITIES: To deliver the Significant 7 LD Training Package to support Care Home Staff to develop and maintain clinical practice knowledge and skills. Use toolkits to enhance clinical competence of individuals/teams. Managing documentation for commissioners. Work alongside staff in practice (care homes) to support the development of skills and competencies in the workplace. Participate in reflective practice with multi-disciplinary teams. Seek opportunities to engage in research, attend training, sharing knowledge with the team leading to change of practice. Understand and implement change in line with national and local policy. Monitor fairness and consistency in all work alongside with others. Basic IT Skills. To ensure accurate recording of actions. Effective communication skils. Able to use the internet for research. Work within secure and confidential filing systems so as to ensure data held is organised and accessible.
SKILLS/EXP REQUIRED: Will need to be a registered nurse/AHP, LD background preferable, teaching qualification or equivalent. Car driver.
