SpR Accident and Emergency

SPR A&E Position – Immediate Start
Location: Northern Ireland
Contract: 6 Months
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

Job Description:
We are currently looking for a skilled and enthusiastic SPR to join the Accident & Emergency team at a reputable NHS hospital in Northern Ireland. This 6-month locum position offers an exciting opportunity for an SPR to further develop their expertise in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing advanced medical care and management for patients in the Accident & Emergency department

  • Taking a lead role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of emergency cases

  • Supervising and supporting junior medical staff and trainees

  • Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

  • Ensuring clinical guidelines and protocols are adhered to

  • Participating in departmental meetings, ward rounds, and clinical governance activities

  • Providing mentorship and training to junior team members

Essential Requirements:

  • GMC registration with a license to practice

  • SPR experience in Accident & Emergency (essential)

  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge in emergency medicine

  • Excellent communication and team-working abilities

  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment

  • Must be available to start ASAP
