Role Overview: As a DPU Nurse, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering exceptional care to patients within our Day Procedure Unit (DPU). You will work closely with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care within the DPU.
  • Monitoring patients before, during, and after procedures.
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Providing patient education and support.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes.
  • Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse qualification with current licensure.
  • Proven experience working in a DPU or similar clinical setting.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate patient care.
