Specialty Doctor – Remote Medico Legal Permanent role
Base in Northern Ireland
Salary: £150,000 per annum + 5% employer pension contribution
Hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
We are seeking a Specialty Doctor in Psychiatry with General Adult experience to join a well-established medico-legal practice on a full-time basis. This is a remote position, but applicants must be based in Northern Ireland.
Conduct psychiatric assessments of clients referred for medico-legal purposes
Produce clear, high-quality medico-legal reports
Attend court hearings only if a case proceeds to trial (rare occurrence)
Competitive salary of £150,000 per annum
5% employer pension contribution
Monday–Friday, 9–5 working hours (no weekends, evenings, or on-call)
Fully remote working setup
Rare requirement for court attendance
GMC-registered doctor with General Adult Psychiatry experience
Excellent written communication and report-writing skills
Professional, detail-oriented, and able to manage workload independently
Based in Northern Ireland
