We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Paediatric Dietician to work within the Dieticians team for Acute Hospital Services for the next 2 months.
Job Summary:
The post holder will be responsible for the day to day clinic delivery of a Dietetic service to the two acute adult medical wards and to the orthopaedic ward in the Hospital. They will also be a specialist Paediatric Dietitian who has completed the specialist paediatric modules and is an experienced paediatric dietitian, as the post holder will be the paediatric dietitian for the Island during their time here as a locum. This will involve running a weekly paediatric general outpatient clinic, supporting children requiring long term enteral feeding, giving input onto the Paediatric ward as cases arise, and other support in the community as required. They may be needed to help with the new feeding clinic specialising in those with ARFID and other feeding difficulties, alongside Paediatrician and Speech Therapy colleagues. The post includes working with CAMHS as part of the eating disorder team assisting with meal plan development for both inpatient and outpatient settings.
