The Role

As a Band 6 Locum Speech & Language Therapist, you will assess, diagnose and manage communication and swallowing disorders, delivering evidence-based interventions to improve patient outcomes. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, providing specialist advice and supporting patients, families and carers throughout their treatment journey.

Requirements

• HCPC registration as a Speech & Language Therapist
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Speech & Language Therapy
• Previous experience working at Band 6 level
• Experience within NHS and/or private healthcare settings
• Competent in assessment, treatment planning and clinical decision-making
• Excellent communication and report writing skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
