About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic and multidisciplinary Mental Health team. This is a full-time position offering a varied and rewarding caseload, working across a range of specialties including:

  • Personality Disorders (PD)

  • Functional Neurological Disorders (FND)

  • Bipolar Disorder

  • Psychosis

  • Brain Trauma

  • Learning Disabilities (LD)

You will play a vital role in supporting service users to develop independence, enhance their quality of life, and achieve meaningful recovery goals through evidence-based occupational therapy interventions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the occupational needs of clients and develop person-centred treatment plans.

  • Provide individual and group interventions focusing on recovery, function, and wellbeing.

  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and support staff.

  • Contribute to care planning, risk assessment, and discharge planning.

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

  • Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives.


About You

  • HCPC registered Occupational Therapist (essential).

  • Experience within a mental health setting (community or inpatient).

  • Strong communication, organisational, and clinical reasoning skills.

  • Compassionate, resilient, and committed to promoting recovery and independence.

  • Ability to manage a varied caseload and work autonomously within a supportive team.
