Part-Time – 2 Days Per Week – Occupational Therapist

This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who is passionate about delivering person-centered, recovery-focused care within specialist inpatient services.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake comprehensive assessment and formulation of occupational needs
• Deliver evidence-based, individualised interventions to support recovery and independence
• Contribute to MDT discussions and care planning
• Support patients with functional rehabilitation, social inclusion, and community access
• Apply trauma-informed care principles in all aspects of practice

Essential Experience

• Proven experience in occupational therapy assessment and formulation (experience with the Model of Human Occupation is beneficial, though other frameworks are welcomed)
• Experience working with adults with mild to moderate learning disabilities and/or autism, including associated conditions
• Strong understanding and application of trauma-informed approaches
• Desirable Experience
• Previous experience in a forensic or secure setting
• Knowledge of sensory processing differences
• Experience supporting rehabilitation and community reintegration
