We are seeking an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team, working across our Eating Disorders (ED), Autism, & Forensic Inpatient Wards.
This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who is passionate about delivering person-centered, recovery-focused care within specialist inpatient services.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake comprehensive assessment and formulation of occupational needs
- Deliver evidence-based, individualised interventions to support recovery and independence
- Contribute to MDT discussions and care planning
- Support patients with functional rehabilitation, social inclusion, and community access
- Apply trauma-informed care principles in all aspects of practice
Essential Experience
- Proven experience in occupational therapy assessment and formulation (experience with the Model of Human Occupation is beneficial, though other frameworks are welcomed)
- Experience working with adults with mild to moderate learning disabilities and/or autism, including associated conditions
- Strong understanding and application of trauma-informed approaches
- Desirable Experience
- Previous experience in a forensic or secure setting
- Knowledge of sensory processing differences
- Experience supporting rehabilitation and community reintegration
